In 2008 W. Ryan Kenimer and James W. Vermillion III envisioned starting a real estate company in Central Kentucky, with the goal of achieving a large and diverse portfolio of properties. In 2009, that vision became reality, and K&V LLC was formed. K&V focuses on multiple areas of real estate to include property management, property rehabbing, short sales, and commercial property among others.

W. Ryan Kenimer was born and raised in Paris, KY. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. While finishing his degree he worked for Hinkle Contracting, a company specializing in various types and applications of construction. Ryan currently works as a mechanical engineer designing stamping dies for Toyota which are used to create parts for Toyota vehicles sold around the world. He is a licensed real estate agent in Kentucky and is a member of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors.

James W. Vermilllion III was raised in Frankfort, KY. He attended the University of Kentucky and was a member of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. Upon graduating in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, James served four years as an Aircraft and Munitions Maintenance Officer at Barksdale Air Force Base, LA. He returned to Lexington in 2012 and currently works as the Global Logistics Manager for Age International, Inc. James is a licensed real estate agent in Kentucky and a contributing author for the BiggerPockets.com real estate investing blog.
